I installed MagicJack at my girlfriend's practice and it's been running pretty well since about 8 months until last week. The phone that is connected to MagicJack now displays all the time 'Line in Use'. I have researched countless forum and 80% of them point to a hardware issue on the MagicJack but wanted to check here first based on my experience.

The setup is as followed-

MagicJack is connected to the power outlet then one cable connects to the phone and another cable connects to the wireless router. There is no internet connection issues whatsoever. The moment the phone gets a signal it displays 'Line In use'. The result is if you try to call the MagicJack phone number it rings a couple of times and go straight to voicemail. The rings are not heard on the phone though. I see an incoming called ID on the screen and when I try to take the call, nothing happens and the call goes straight to the voicemail. The strange part is that I can make outgoing calls from the phone with no issues, even though it still displays the 'Line In Use' on the screen. The next test I did is to connect MagicJack directly to the computer and one cable going to the phone and one to the wireless router. This means I used the softphone in order to make and receive calls. The softphone is working perfectly and incoming/outgoing calls are getting through with no issues. I have tried to replace the phone with two other ones from different manufacturer and no luck. Do you still think it is a MagicJack issue? Any of you had this problem in the past? Thanks for your help.
